The solid line is the least-squares regression model used to predict WBNAA concentration (in millimoles) from the processing speed in HIV-infected patients, as follows: WBNAA = 12.38 - 0.2357 x processing speed. A higher processing speed score indicates increased impairment.

B, Box plots display the 25% (box bottom), median, 75% (box top) values and the ±95% (whiskers) range of the variation in WBNAA concentrations for HIV-infected patients in each of the ADC score categories and for their age- and sex-matched healthy subjects.
