Significant voxels (height threshold of P < .001, uncorrected for multiple comparisons and an extent threshold of 25 voxels) are superimposed on selected sections of spatially normalized MR images from a control subject. With the hypothesis a priori, areas of increased gray matter are seen around the left central sulcus, in the primary motor cortex, Brodmann area 4 (the cluster with 122 voxels), and the primary somatosensory cortex, area 3 (the cluster with 93 voxels).
