Putaminal Hyperintensity on T1-Weighted MR Imaging in Patients with the Parkinson Variant of Multiple System Atrophy
AJNR Am J Neuroradiol Ito et al. 30: 689

Supplemental Online Figures

Files in this Data Supplement:

  • Online Figures 1-2 (PDF) -

Online Figure 1: A vertical axis indicates the position on a visual analog scale (maximum, 50 mm), and horizontal bars indicate mean position in each group. Putaminal T1H (A), T2H (B), and atrophy (D) are obviously greater in patients with MSA-P than in other subjects, with statistical significance. T2 L (C) is a bit greater in patients with MSA-P.

Online Figure 2: The ROC curves are presented. In differentiation between patients with MSA-P and healthy control subjects (A), putaminal T1H, T2H, and atrophy have a large AUC, suggesting their usefulness for differentiation. In the differentiation between MSA-P and PD (B) and between MSA-P and PSP (C), putaminal T1H, T2H, and atrophy have also large AUCs. T1H is superior to T2H and atrophy.
