Pathology from dural biopsy: Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) x100 and x400 magnification pathology slides (A, B) demonstrate mild dural thickening with presence of bandlike lymphoplasmacytic inflammation (arrows). Multifocal angiocentric inflammation with phlebitis and diffuse hypercellular dural fibrosis is also noted. Diaminobenzine (DAB) and Hematoxylin x200 and x400 magnification (C, D). CD138 immunohistochemistry confirms presence of greater than 10 plasma cells per high power field (HPF) (C, D; arrows).
