Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is an extremely aggressive astrocytic tumor. The classic histopathological features of GBM are the presence of angiogenesis and tumor necrosis, along with perivascular pseudopalisading patterns of hyperchromatic cells. These pseudopalisading patterns have also been described as many similar-sized elliptical bubbles with enhanced strips and margin in postcontrast T1-weighted MRI (arrows).
