Lipomas are uncommon differentials for cerebellopontine angle (CPA) masses, which are thought to originate from persistence and maldifferentiation of the primitive meninx primitiva. Four commonly known anatomical locations of intracranial lipomas include peri-corpus callosum, CPA, hypothalamus, and tectum. The classic CT feature is a well-defined hypodense extraaxial lesion with fat density in the right cerebellopontine angle (A). The lesion is hyperintense on noncontrast T1WI (B) with signal suppression on STIR (C).
