Abstract

Blunt injuries of peripheral nerves as well as neural lesions following operations could be early differentiated by X-ray visualisation of nerve trunks. Water soluble and oily contrast mediums were injected into the epineural space of the sciatic nerve of rats and rabbits. A good opacification of the whole nerve up to the epidural space of the spinal cord was obtained. Similarresults have been achieved by other authors. However, at present there is no standard method for neurography.
