Abstract

Sixteen months after the diagnosis of acute myelogenous leukemia, a 34-year-old woman developed a bizarre neurological syndrome. The CT scan showed multiple intraparenchymal masses in the right hemisphere, which at autopsy proved to be chloromas. This unusual complication of leukemia is discussed with reference to the 5 previously reported cases of intracranial chloromas.
