Tissue samples of four MS brains were obtained from the National Neurological Research Specimen Bank, VAMC, Los Angeles, CA 90073, which is sponsored by NINDS/NIMH, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Hereditary Disease Foundation, and Veterans Health Services and Research Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs. The remaining tissue samples from MS, normal and Alzheimer's diseased brains were supplied by the Department of Pathology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. This work
