The relationship between IML and multiple subcutaneous angiolipoma was unknown. To the best of our knowledge, 55 cases of IML of the oral cavity have been reported in the English literature [3,4,10–29]. The tongue is the most common site of involvement and accounts for about 40% of all cases, followed by the cheek and submandibular region.
