Cavernous hemangioma in the cavernous sinus: case report

Abstract

The case of a middle-aged woman with a cavernous hemangioma of the right cavernous sinus who showed ipsilateral hemianopsia associated with contralateral blindness caused by left retrobulbar optic neuritis is presented. Total removal of the tumor was followed by recovery of the visual function of the right eye.
