Pulmonary toxicity of methyl methacrylate vapors: an environmental study

Arch Environ Health. 1979 Sep-Oct;34(5):336-8. doi: 10.1080/00039896.1979.10667427.

Abstract

The toxicity of methyl methacrylate vapors was tested using a mouse model. Mice were exposed for prolonged periods (2 hr twice daily for 10 days) to high doses (1,500 ppm) under atmospheric oxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations. Histologic examination of the lungs, liver, heart, and kidney showed no evidence of damage.
