ASSR Practical Spine Imaging Symposium ====================================== * J. Randy Jinkins The second annual meeting of the American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR) was held in Naples, Florida, February 14–17, 1999. This annual symposium was designed to provide a broad overview of practice aspects of modern spine imaging and intervention. Each day of this 3-day meeting was devoted to different pathologic entities or interventional options. Day 1 of the meeting focused on spinal degenerative/acquired pathology and inflammatory disease. Day 2 covered vascular and neoplastic pathology. Also, part of day 2 was devoted to a low back pain seminar. Day 3 emphasized interventional and therapeutic techniques as well as miscellaneous techniques and pathology. J. Randy Jinkins and Alan Williams cochaired the program committee. The majority of the meeting was didactic in nature, with recognized experts in the field providing up-to-date information in these subjects areas. The faculty included: Brian C.
