2006 ASNR Cornelius G. Dyke Memorial Award ========================================== Dr. Ashok Panigrahy graduated from Boston University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He graduated from Boston University School of Medicine in 1998, during which he spent 2 years as a Howard Hughes Research Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital in developmental neuroscience. He went on to diagnostic radiology residency at UCLA School of Medicine, where he was chief resident and received the RSNA Roentgen Resident Award. He completed his neuroradiology fellowship in 2003 at UCLA and a pediatric neuroradiology/pediatric radiology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in 2004, where he has continued and is currently an assistant professor. He has recently been awarded a NIH pediatric research loan re-payment grant about advanced MR imaging of pediatric brain tumors. He is currently a co-investigator on a Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation of the United States pre-institute award grant about MR imaging of brain stem gliomas, and a Knights Templar Eye Foundation grant about prenatal MR imaging of retinoblastoma.
