In The heart of New York City, adjacent to Chrysler Building (left) we have one of many visual reminders that the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States is still a bejeweled city. Here for you are the Chrysler Trylons. The famed architect Philip Johnson designed them “ . . . as a monument for 42nd street . . . to give you the top of the Chrysler building at street level” by visual analogy with the chevron spire of its namesake.
