A 43-year-old man with no significant past medical history presents to the ED with left upper and lower extremity weakness along with left-sided facial droop. The patient has stable vitals, and a physical exam is notable only for decreased motor strength in the left upper and lower extremities along with mild left-sided facial droop. There is no personal or family history of TIA or stroke.
