2023, NeurocirugiaCitation Excerpt :In the present series, majority of patients with HBTs presented with HCTs followed by EIH whereas extra-axial hemorrhages, including ASH and AEH, were much less common. A similar classification of the type of hemorrhages had been presented in a previous series, which reported that HCT was the most common type (30/45) of tumor-related hemorrhage followed by intraparenchymal hemorrhage.6,27 Expectedly, HCT primarily resulted in mildly affected LOCs, whereas EIHs were associated with more severely affected LOCs in our series.
