Abstract
Case report:
We report on a 9-month-old boy with congenital hydrocephalus involving cystic lesions in the bilateral cerebellopontine angle cisterns. Sequential CT cisternography demonstrated congenital obstruction of the fourth ventricular outlet and diverticular enlargement of the foramina of Luschka.
Discussion:
The possibility of neuroendoscopic third ventriculostomy as a treatment for these pathologies is discussed.
