Interventional neuroradiology and the management of arteriovenous malformations and fistulas

Neurol Clin. 1983 Feb;1(1):131-54.

Abstract

The development of techniques of radiologic intravascular navigation with particles and balloons has created new therapeutic alternatives to neurologic diseases such as intracranial arteriovenous malformations and fistulas. The authors discuss the applications of these therapeutic tools.
