Conjoined Nerve Roots
- Conjoined nerve roots are the most common of nerve root anomalies.
- Most common in the lumbosacral region.
- Usually asymptomatic, they are an important cause of failed back syndrome.
- Key Diagnostic Features: Presence of two nerve roots within a single, enlarged common root sleeve is diagnostic.
- MR remains the imaging modality of choice.
