A 7-year-old boy with history of myoclonic jerks and cognitive decline over 3 months. Previously healthy with unremarkable developmental milestones. Past medical history was significant for measles at 1 month of age, with uncomplicated recovery. Neurologic examination showed loss of previously acquired milestones (unable to walk or talk) and cognitive impairment.
