Transforming neuroanatomy into fanciful art requires deft imagination and artistic talent. Professor Miro Orszagh of Freiburg, Germany has provided the American Journal of Neuroradiology with a number of alluring and wonderful paintings the first of which “The Ventricles As Orchids” is reproduced in this issue of the journal. Perhaps the starkly black and white ventricular system as seen on MR, will never seem quite the same to us again.
